Sheep Blood Agar Base is recommended with addition of sheep blood, gives improved haemolytic reactions of organisms. This media was formulated to be compatible with sheep blood and give improved haemolytic reactions of organisms. With added sheep blood allows maximum recovery of organisms without interfering with their haemolytic reactions and give improved haemolytic reactions of organisms. This media shows considerable improvement and the expected beta haemolytic reactions with Streptococcus pyogenes in comparison to other blood agar bases supplemented with blood.
