Appearance: Off-white to yellow coloured granular medium.
Colour and Clarity of prepared medium: Light amber coloured clear to slightly opalescent solution in tubes
Reaction: Reaction of 2.4% w/v aqueous solution at 25°C. pH : 5.1±0.2
